With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcelyn Y. Sessions (Marshfield, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marcelyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Walford Swanson and Walberg Everginia Hegstrom; her former husband Richard D. Sessions; her husband Clem Weis; her son Brian Strand; her brother Donovan Swanson; her son-in-law Jeff Singer; her sister Vivian Rogholt (Marvin); and her nephews, Randy and Mark Rogholt.
She is survived by: her children, JoDee Singer of Durango, Colorado and Aric Strand (Diana) of Marshfield; and her granddaughters, Amy Peters of Cadott and Arika Mueller (Justin) of Marshfield. She is also survived by three great grandsons.
