He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James D. Griepentrog (Ronda Hederer) and Debra J. Griepentrog (Sandley); his children, Gage Griepentrog of Stratford and Leightyn Griepentrog (Tyn) of Loyal; his siblings, Derek Griepentrog and Devon Griepentrog (Troy Shull) of Spencer; his close friend Rena Rogers of Marshfield; his nieces and nephews, Chase and Skye; and his grandparents, Donald Griepentrog of Spencer, Harold Sandley, Dolores Knutson and Betty Griepentrog. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.

If desired, the family is accepting memorials in Luke's name for a charity to be determined.
