He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hoffman and Emma Hoffman; and his siblings, Kathleen Arneson and Leonard Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Yaeko Nakamura; his children, Susan Kress (Dick Clark) and David Hoffman; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Schwartz (Grant), Manuel and Carlos Hoffman (Laddawan Panyasa); his great grandchildren, Alexandria and Vienna Schwartz; and his sisters, Doris Schultz and Caroline Jibril. He is also survived by his wife and children and later taking care of his grandchildren.
