It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kurt Umnus Jr. in Marshfield, Wisconsin, born in Edgar, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Umnus and Evelyn Umnus (Warosh); his siblings, Frederick Umnus (Lois), Dorothy Biver (Al), Katherine Crabtree and Joyce Proft (David); and his stepson Russell Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Umnus; his stepchildren, Laura Pongratz (Al), Lois Schneider, Paul Schneider, Joyce Schneider, Jean Peterson and Sara Rilling (Cory); his stepgrandchildren, Christina, Curtis Pongratz, Taylyn Dupee and Izzabella Schneider; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kailey and Kenzie; and his pet Smokey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Kurt's name.
