He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Wry and Genevieve Wry (Baker); his wife Geri; his stepson Paul Jantz; and his brothers, Lawrence, Galen and Bruce Wry.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Kim Landwehr (Scott) of Stratford; his stepdaughter-in-law Jean Jantz of River Falls; his granddaughter Jodi Branum (Chris) of Houlton; his great grandchildren, Annamarie and Nicholas; his granddaughter Tara Kattre (Les) of Woodville; his great grandchildren, Susan and Jeffry; his grandchildren, Jordan Landwehr (Ashley) of Chili, Kassidy and Jarrett Landwehr of Stratford; and his siblings, Ronald Wry (Andrea Sue), Dorothy Birkenholz (Charles), Kathleen Cassata, Barbara Boor (Gary), Margaret Thorgerson (Ted), Gary Wry and Beverly Madlon (Duane). He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the House of the Dove.
