He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Wenzel and Theresa Wenzel (Kaholka); his former wife Sandra M. Loken of John's Catholic Church; his son Mark Wenzel; and his siblings, Ruth Wenzel, Margaret "Marge" Eggebrecht and Richard Wenzel.
He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Goes (Genett); his children, Kris Herr (Tim), David Wenzel (Debbie) and John P. Wenzel (Sue); his daughter-in-law Julie Wenzel of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Jenny Johnson, Teresa Walz, April Hopkins, John Wenzel, Jordon Wenzel, Jim Wenzel, Jeremy Wenzel, Nathan Wenzel, Amanda Byers, Nicole King and Jenny Holt; and his siblings, Frederick "Fritz" Wenzel of Madison and Mary Watson of Roswell, GA.. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
