It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Z. O'Halloran of Marshfield, Wisconsin, born in Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nesrala Zegob and Edna Zegob; her former husband Joe; and her siblings, Rosemarie Espinosa (Ted) and Nesrala Zegob (Mary Jane).
She is survived by: her husband Joseph P. O'Halloran; and her children, Maureen Clark, John O'Halloran (Kate), Kevin O'Halloran (Denise), Anne Finegan (Robert), Edna DeVries (Bryan), Elaine Mshomba (Richard), Mark O'Halloran (Gerlinde) and Carol Schnaufer (Bernard). She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joan's honor for the education services provided through Elaine (Joan's daughter) and Richard Mshomba in Tanzania (in East Africa) (through the Durning-O'Halloran Community Library and scholarships).
