She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius A. Ehlert and Anna A. Ehlert (Kurz); her husband Duane O. Pachal; her son James; and her grandson Jeremiah Pachal.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Lori) of Wausau, Arla Homann (Michael) of Park Falls, Betty Boulieu (Ron) of Marshfield, Virgil (Lora) of Marshfield, Susan Berger (Robert) of Minocqua and Gloria Thom (Richard) of Cato; her daughter-in-law Elaine Pachal of Winter Haven, FL; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Banerjee (Shawn), Matthew, Jennifer Pachal, William Homann (Karlie), Rebecca Knapp (Kevin), Michelle Homann, Devin Boulieu (Kendyl Haffenbredl), Tyler, Micah Pachal, Jaci, Kyle Klimpke, Alexander and Benjamin Thom; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Calvin, Ansel, Arlo and Harper; and her brother Reuben Ehlert (Delores Smith) of Loyal. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
She was also a hospice volunteer, a peer listener, a volunteer for an Alzheimer's support group, and a member of the Red Hat Society of Loyal.
