He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wallace and Clara Wallace (Steiner). He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Kotas; his children, Andrew Wallace (Heather) of Merrill, WI and Jessica Nunes-Ueno (Marcos) of Seattle, WA.; and his granddaughters, Emma, Anna, Harriet and Dorothy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
