He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald Schultz, Floyd and Harriet Heck; his aunt Judy Bloch; and his cousins, Heather Bloch and Dylan Bloch.

He is survived by: his parents, Tracy Heck and Kay Heck (Schultz); his former wife Melissa Wright; his children, Max and Brynn; his brother Craig Heck (Stephanie); and his nieces and nephews, Kalvin and Sophie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends.
