It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Marie Halvorson in Marshfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Huiras and Melvina Huiras (Crotteau); her husband Merlin Halvorson; her siblings, Minnie Huiras, Paul, Roy and Elmer Huiras; her sisters-in-law, Theresa, Gail, Jeanette and Ruth Huiras; and her nephews, Gregory and Joseph Huiras.
She is survived by: her son Bill (Sharon) of Stacy, MN; her granddaughter Anna Halvorson (Kristoffer); her stepsons, Josh and Aaron Lappe; her great grandchildren, Taryn, Megan, Phoenix and Bill; her brother Bill Huiras of Barron; her sister-in-law Judy Huiras of Woodbury, MN; and her niece Rose Maxon of Cumberland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
