He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schlagenhaft and Gislene Schlagenhaft (Legue); and his siblings, Allen, Steven and Jacqueline.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Robin Scherr, David Scherr (Tiffany), Erik Schlagenhaft (Mishan) and Stacey Schlagenhaft; and his brothers, Fred Schlagenhaft, Donald Schlagenhaft (Elizabeth) and Philip Schlagenhaft (Pam).
