He was predeceased by: his parent Catherine Witt; his son Gary M. Witt Jr.; his son-in-law Carl R. Pongratz Jr.; his aunts and uncles, Henry, Milton Witt, Henrietta and Marie Witt; and his siblings-in-law, Angie Dux, Marian Geason, Gerald Marg, Verlon Marg, Ken Geason, Everett Dux and Larry Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen M. Marg of Marshfield; his daughters, Cindy Witt of Marshfield, Lisa Pongratz of Stratford and Sherri Witt (Jay Wagner) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Jeremy Witt (Shari) of Aprin, Jesse Emon of Marshfield, Josh Witt (Mandy) of Marshfield, Tiffany Redner (Greg) of Texas, Ashley Masephol (Daniel) of Stratford and Dakota Pongratz (Jennifer) of Plover; his daughter-in-law Sharon Witt of Marshfield; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Carlson of Wessington Springs, SD, Shirley Marg of Crystal River, FL and Barbara Marg of Milwaukee. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
