He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Weiler and Rachael Weiler (Niemuth); and his siblings, Monte, Randy and Bonnie Semandel.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Gergs; his children, Kristine Podosek (David) of Garden Grove and Lorin Weiler of Waunakee, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Chase, Fletcher and Shane Podosek of Garden Grove, California; his siblings, Del, Keith (Sandy), Barry (Myra), Todd, Russ (Denise) and Melody West (Neal); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Weiler and Marilyn Weiler.
