She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Herkert and Adela Herkert (Schnitzler). She is survived by: her children, Betty Meyer (Michael) of Muskego, Ed Smrecek (Mary) of Appleton, Jim Smrecek (Shelley) of Sherwood, Ken Smrecek (Kaye) of Tomahawk and Pam Wawrzyniak (Mike) of Lexington, VA; her siblings, Irene Susa, Jim Herkert, Lawrence "Bud" Herkert (Dora), Reuben Herkert (Jo) and Bob Herkert (Ruth); and her parents-in-law, Betty Smrecek, Tom Smrecek (Marlene) and Mary Ann Brinkman. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
