He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bartsch and Elizabeth Bartsch (Reisner); and his brothers, Marlin (Evelyn), Delmer (Viola) and Harlan Bartsch (Darlene).

He is survived by: his wife Helen Weber; his sons, Randall Bartsch of Yoder, Brian Bartsch (Holly) of Marshfield, Dennis Bartsch of Loyal and Gary Bartsch of Granton; his grandson Dillon Bartsch of Yoder Colorado; and his stepgrandchildren, Cody, Aron, Jamie and Candice (Nick). He is also survived by His great grandson and 11 step great-grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.

“An expression of sympathy to Helen and the family. We are so very sorry that you have lost such a special person. Bobby was one of our first friends when we moved to Marshfield. He watched the logs go up on our log home in Edgar, and then watched the trusses go on our house here in Marshfield. I always enjoyed visiting with him. And we always remembered him on February 15. That bar stool at the Legion will look very empty. Bill and I will really miss him. Bill & Becky O'Black”
