With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth L. Heiring (Marshfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry J. Ungs and Elizabeth Ungs (Clemen); her husband Gerald L. "Tink" Heiring; her sisters, Mary Kay and Dorothy Mae; and her siblings-in-law, Cy Lampe, Donald Necker, Donald Heiring, Leo Rusch, Mike Salatino, Sedelle Tegeler (Gib), Lucille Heying (Walter), Helen Bakula (Ted), Mae McGuire (Bill), Lois Ross (Duane), Elaine Williams (David) and Shirley Klein (Gene).
She is survived by: her children, Gerri River of Wausau, Michael Heiring of Wausau, Jane Heiring of Stevens Point and Robert Heiring (April) of Winona, MN; her grandchildren, Gerin River (Julie) of Pleasant Hill, Carver and Claire Heiring; her great grandchildren, Satya and Samara River; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Rusch (Leo), Joyce Salatino (Mike) and Jean Heiring (Donald).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (201 W Blodgett St, Marshfield, WI 54449). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
