It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ellen Eckes of Marshfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Vandeberg and Naomi Vandeberg (Durst); her husband James Eckes; her children, Karen and David Eckes; her siblings, Alice, Jeanette, Rosie, Verlyn, Milford, Marvin and Shirley; and her stepfather Dale Guthrie.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Trevor Foemmel; her brother Ivan Vandeberg of Springfield, Oregon; her children, Sue Peck (Tom) of Eau Claire, Char Wilson of Marshfield, Rick Eckes (Connie) of Marshfield and Barb Eckes of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Matthew Peck, Spencer Peck (Megan), Jeremiah Peck (Katie), Eric Wilson (Kelly), Sara Foemmel, Jason Lewer (Janelle), Jamie Lewer, Cam Melbinger (Stacy), Diana Ornes (Matt) and Dustin Eckes (Cassandra); and her great grandchildren, Conrad, Odin Peck, Alyssa, Ethan Foemmel, Brianna Varsho, Britney Lewer, Adrian Lewer, Riley, Parker Melbinger, Lailah, Vanessa, Elliot Ornes, Brantley, Kinsley and Jace Eckes. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
