She was predeceased by: her parents, Manley McCulloch and Marie McCulloch (Weister); her husband Laurence J. Kappel; her son Michael; and her siblings, Manley McCulloch, Delores Curtin, Carol Heintz and Gerri Kohlbeck.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hutchinson (Joe Sturla), Bill Kappel (Marlene) and David Kappel (Dorene); her daughter-in-law Marina Kappel; and her grandchildren, Tim (Mary), Ashley (Brent), Christopher (Skarleth), Stacy and Tammy (John). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
