He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kayla Vanderwyst; his brother Jim Vanderwyst; his brother-in-law Ron Shupe; and his niece Kim Shupe. He is survived by: his wife Debra Ackman-Vanderwyst; his children, Mike Vanderwyst (Jodi), Kristine Luepke (Randy) of Marshfield and Jessie LaPlante-Ackman (Jazmin) of Madison; his grandchildren, Will, Haley Vanderwyst and Natalie Luepke; and his sister-in-law Sandra Vanderwyst of Holman. He is also survived by father who enjoyed spending quality time with his children, grandchildren.
