With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Elmer Griepentrog of Marshfield, Wisconsin, born in Spencer, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Griepentrog and Adelheid Griepentrog (Wellman); his wife Elizabeth Wenzel (Betty); his half-brothers, Elmer (Adeline) and Ray (Anita); and his siblings, Eugene (Bernice), Caroline Greenwald (Jim) and Bernard.

He is survived by: his son Jim Griepentrog (Ronda Hederer); his grandchildren, Derek and Devon (Troy Shull) of Spencer; his daughter Jane Krohn of Marshfield; his granddaughter Jessica Harriman (Dan) of Strum; his daughter Joni Karl (Shane); his grandchildren, Elijah and Libby of Marshfield; his son Jon Griepentrog (Jodi) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Haley Griepentrog (Logan Arndt) of Wausau, Hayley Weister of Eau Claire and Trayton Weister of La Crosse; his great grandchildren, Chase, Skye Shull, Delaney, Karley, Brody Harriman and Gage; his siblings-in-law, Sally Wenzel of Spencer, Donna Wenzel of Spencer, Lois Wenzel of Stanley, Karen Kupfer (Ron) of Underwood, MN, Gordon, Fred, Bob and Chuck Wenzel; and his grandson Luke Griepentrog. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
