It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis R. Strey of Marshfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Strey and Dolores Strey (Woldt); his sister Carol Jakobi; his brothers-in-law, Melvin Severt and Ronald Jakobi; and his father-in-law James Thimmesch.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Brian Strey (Brianna), Scott Strey (Alicia) and Lindsay Sydow (Ben); his stepchildren, Rachael Lichterman (Darrin), Ryan Gauger and Jason Gauger; his grandchildren, Leila, Oliver, Landon, Madeline, Gwendolyn, Shia, Preslie, Everett, Morgan, Annika, Sawyer and Jordyn; his siblings, David Strey of Granton, Allen Strey (Barbara) of Eau Claire, Kay Severt of Marshfield and Gary Strey (Sandra) of Marshfield; and his mother-in-law Gladys Thimmesch. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rembs Funeral Home and Crematory (300 S Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be designated at a later date.
