He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Thomas and Frank Thomas; and his sister Jennifer Scott. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Thomas (Janelle), David Thomas of Grafton, WI and April Thomas of Yorktown, VA; his girlfriend Janet Rottscheit; and his granddaughter Kaytlyn Thomas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
David had a sarcastic sense of humor and enjoyed playing tricks; he would even short-sheet his own mom, tie pull-pop firecrackers to the doors, and would wear masks to sneak up on you.
At one family gathering, he wore a fake set of glasses with a "private" shaped nose while carrying the lunch donation bucket asking for help to fund a much-needed nose job.
