He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Smith and Margaret Smith (Wallender); his parents-in-law, Harold B. and Genevieve E. Pollard; his daughter-in-law Jenny Smith; his siblings-in-law, Ronald, Donald Pollard, Megan, Carol and Cindy Pollard; and his pet Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his son Chris; his pet Elf; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth, Gary, Norman Pollard (Regina) and Maxine Pollard.
