He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Schlagenhaft and Dorothy Schlagenhaft (Blenker); his sister Thora Loescher (Bob); and his stepfather Leonard Ashbeck. He is survived by: his wife Fran A. Kille; his daughters, Jill Doescher (Jeff) of Rudolph and Michelle Quinlan (Larry) of Arpin; and his siblings, Richard Schlagenhaft (Patty) of Fond and Fern Mattson (Allen) of Hancock, Michigan.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
