He was predeceased by: his father Roman Virnig; his sister Lisa Virnig; and his stepfather Dennis Regele. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Regele; his siblings, Mary Derfus (Kevin), Tom Virnig, Chuck Virnig, Bill Virnig (Joy), Barb Weber (Bob), Becky Eckhart (Dave), Debbie Zellner (Joel), Jenny Mouriski (Jack), Mark Virnig (Christi), Jon Virnig and Sue Becker (Bill); and his stepbrother Rob Regele (Kim Gilbert). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
