He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Winters and Elsie Kreman-Winters. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Casey, Charlie, Wally and Tye; his siblings, Wayne, Rose Hager (Glen), Debby and Charlotte Winters; his mother-in-law Grace Mullen; and his siblings-in-law, John Mullen (Judy), Joe Mullen (Dawn), Jim Mullen (Diane), Lucy Burk (Kelly) and Cindy Newmier (Ken). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
