He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Hastreiter and Helen Hastreiter (Hornick); his wife Florence; and his siblings, Jerome, Lucille, Marie, James and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hastreiter, Diane Hastreiter, Steve Hastreiter (Gina), Mary Scheibe (Brian) and Joe Hastreiter (Jenny); his grandchildren, Matthew (Danae), Sam, Nathan, Ava Hastreiter, Maddy, Maya, Reese Scheibe, Norah, Pierce and Reid Hastreiter; and his sister Barbara Kester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
