Shirley Ann Nickerson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Nickerson of Marshall, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Ann Nickerson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Roessler and Edna Roessler (Richgels); her husbands, Donald Schmitt and Howard; her son James Schmitt; her grandson Troy Virchow; her son-in-law Daniel Hein; and her brothers, Francis, Thomas, Gene, John and LaVern.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Hein of Waterloo, Darlene Blankenship of Sun Prairie and Diane Virchow (Kirk) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Amy (Shawn), Tori (Tim), Kyle (Tiffany), Tyler (Natasha), Michael (Heather) and Erik (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Braydon, Ashlyn, Oliver, Leo, Cal, Bria, Nolan and Parker; her sister Marge Fargen of Reedsburg; and her sisters-in-law, Avis Roessler of Baraboo and Patricia Schmitt of Columbus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (112 S Beebe St, Marshall, WI 53559). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Epiphany of the Lord Parish.
