He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Childs and Loyde L. Childs Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Childs; his children, Carrie Radue (Tom) of Savage, Minn. and Craig Childs (JoAnn Benton) of Urbandale, Iowa; his granddaughters, Amanda Stocker (Childs), Erin Radue and Megan Childs; and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Bennet Stocker.

In lieu of flowers, Loyde's family requests memorials be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, Wis., or other charity of your choice.
