He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sauer (Scoop) and Genevieve Sauer (Kuipers); and his sister Janine Albrecht. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Behling; his children, Shari Kiesow (Mike), Stacie Meyer (Kevin), Shane Sauer (Jen) and Shannon Sauer (Deidre); his grandchildren, Kallie Larson (Alex), Erinn Webb (Todd), Evan Meyer, Gracie Meyer, Cole Sauer, Brooke Sauer, Ashlyn Sauer, Mollie Sauer and Owen Sauer; and his brother Larry Sauer (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
