He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Qualmann and Adela Qualmann (Pankow); his children, Laurie Mae and Robert; and his siblings, Adelheid Levenhagen, Alvira Daniels and Norbert Qualmann.

He is survived by: his wife Elena Walters; his children, Gene Qualmann (Susan) of Sun Prairie, Kathleen Albrecht of Marshall and Wayne Qualmann (Crystal) of Madison; his daughter-in-law Toni Qualmann of Waupun; his grandchildren, Amy Qualmann (Brian Daly), Carrie Pettey (Eric), Laurence Albrecht, Jeremy Qualmann, Justin Qualmann and Shonda Nedd (Dwayne); his stepgrandson Chris Landsness (Missy); his great grandchildren, Carter, Olivia, Isaac, Adeline, Dakota, Kaiya, Seriah, Amiyah, Makiah, Abayo, Eli and Kayden; and his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Molly, Morgan and Lacey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
