He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cornwell and Meta Cornwell (Dutzle); and his son James Alan Cornwell. He is survived by: his wife Avis Cornwell of Markesan; his daughter Sandra McCulley of Markesan; his grandchildren, Rebecca Bush (Dan) and Jacob McCulley; his great grandchild Leah Bush; and his siblings, Gladys, Lois, Phyllis, Leland and Herbert.
