He was predeceased by: his brothers, Raymond DeYoung (Sadie), Andrew DeYoung (Margaret), Norman DeYoung (Anna), Garrett DeYoung, Milton Navis (Ardell), Harvey Navis and Junice Smits (Gordy).
He is survived by: his parents, John DeYoung and Katie DeYoung (Kampstra); his children, Juliene Buenger (James) of Sussex, Jason Buenger (Shawna) of DeForest, Jeffrey Buenger (Melissa) of Madison, Judy VanderWerff (Jim) of Markesan, Jeremy VanderWerff of Markesan, Jenna VanderWerff of Middleton, Carrie Decker (Lane LeRoy) of Beaver Dam and Benjamin Decker of Waupun; and his sister-in-law Sharon Peters (Dick) of Princeton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
