She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Zauner and Eleanor Zauner (Hausmann); her husband Marvin E. Karns; her sons, James and Thomas; and her sisters, Gertrude, Mazie and Mildred.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristine Nowak (Thomas); and her sister Louise. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other relatives and dear friends.
