James Benjamin Panten Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Benjamin Panten of Markesan, Wisconsin, born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Panten and Rubertha Panten (Koch); his son Jeff Panten; his siblings, John Panten Sr. and Ann Panten; his nieces and nephews, Tammy Panten, Danielle Ellis, Tom Panten, Robert and Kurt Sundermeyer; and his siblings-in-law, Duane, Narcis and Ken (Judy).

He is survived by: his wife Beth Panten of Markesan; his children, Jodi Schaaf (Jim) of Mt Horeb and Jay Panten of Chandler, AZ; his grandchildren, Madison and Austin Panten; his close friend Jill Leedle (Bernie); his sister Katherine Arndt; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Panten, Priscilla, Rose, Arden (Marie), Brian (Marla), Theresa (Ray), Ann (Larry) and Charlotte; and also, Landon and Bryce. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
