He is survived by: his wife Violet Schmuhl of Markesan; his children, Barbara Kehlenbrink (Dan) of Green Lake, WI, Dale Schmuhl (Kelly) and Dean Schmuhl (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Megan Kuntz (Kyle), Zachary Kehlenbrink (Jocelyn), Amanda Douma (Josh), Emily Strahota (Cory), Carissa Schmuhl, Alyssa Schmuhl and Brevin Schmuhl; his stepgrandchildren, Mallory Krueger (Eric) and Zachary Meyer (Alyssa); his brother Harlan Schmuhl (Lois); and his siblings-in-law, Marge Schmuhl, Betty Miracle, Florence and Robert Christian.
