He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franklin and Aileen Kratz Sr. (Ashley); his wife Frances Elaine Cross; his son Gary; his parents-in-law, Nickolas and Evelyn Schumann (Bartles); his siblings, Frederick (Pat), Harry (Lennice), Charles Jr., Dale, Charlotte (Bud) and Lois (Merle); and his brother-in-law George Cross.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Moreland (Raymond) of Dalton and Randy Kratz of Wisconsin Dells; his daughters-in-law, Donna Hare of Markesan and Pamela Kratz of Kingston; his brothers, Jerry and Willis (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Virginia, Barb and Lucia. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
