He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Māhl and Veral Māhl (Mullikin); his daughter Heather Māhl; his brother-in-law Francis Vandre; and his nephew David Heslep.
He is survived by: his friend Steve Strand; his wife Victoria Māhl (Anderson) of Markesan, WI; his children, Christopher Māhl of Baraboo, WI, Anthony Māhl of Mauston, WI, Tiffany Taylor (Brent) of Gulf Port, MS, Michelle Māhl Morgan of Wyocena, WI, Emily Nicoly (Matt) of Baraboo, WI, Troy Māhl of Berlin, WI, Stephanie Māhl of Fond and Renée Māhl of Markesan, WI; and his sisters, Arlene Heslep (Tex) of Baraboo, WI and Jane Vandre Biddle (Charles) of Sebring, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
