With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Collins (Markesan, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Collins and Johanna Collins (Langmeister); his wife Irene Collins; his brother Leroy Collins; and his fathers-in-law, Anthony (Elizabeth Kubycheck) and Bud Wilcox.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy, Anthony, Tom Collins (Becky) of Deforest, WI, Tim Collins (Judy) of South Bend, IN, Tony Collins of Portage, WI and Robert Collins of Hartford, WI.; his grandchildren, Tim Collins (Amanda), Michelle Hughes (Terry), Josh Busse, Heather Collins (Kyle Boese) and Melody Grey (Steve); his great grandchildren, Isabel, Cole, Xavier, Conner, Caden, Emma, Quenten, Joseph, Alba, Adalynn and Ariella; his brother Howard Collins of Chicago, IL; and his close friend Ron Brandstetter.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a private family service for Edward Collins will be held at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home in Princeton.
A memorial has been established in his name to the Princeton VFW Post 10452, 136 N. Farmer St. Princeton, WI 54968.
