She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lueptow and Lillian Lueptow (Hahn); her husband Durward Degener; and her siblings, Bernice Mueller (Lawrence) and Gerald Lueptow (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Uecker of Markesan and Dale Degener (Darlene) of Markesan; her grandchildren, Jackie Lisowski (Jon), Tim Uecker, Derek Degener, April Lemberger (Danny) and Cole Degener (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Noah Lisowski, Addison, Brody Degener, Gabrielle, Wyatt Lemberger, Blake and Alice Uecker. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
