He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Casey and Shirley Casey; and his siblings, William Casey, Beverly Dean and Marjorie Skutt.
He is survived by: his children, April Casey-Reaska (Bill) of Lake Thunderbird, IL and Darren Casey (Mary) of Granville, IL; his stepson Ryan Bernhagen (Mandy) of OshKosh, WI; his sisters, Judi Casey of LaSalle, IL and Diana Brandstatter (Rodger) of Hennepin, IL; his close friend Vicki Bernhagen of Markesan, WI; his grandchildren, Zachary Radtke (Emily) of Dubuque, IA, Samantha Kohr (Ryan) of Woodland Park, Tara and Christina Casey of Granville, IL; and his stepgrandchildren, Josie, Ella Bernhagen of OshKosh, WI., Chelsea Creviston (Jacob), Sydney Jones (Sean) of Georgia, Adam and Dean Reaska of England. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
