We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Caralee A. Schmerse (Markesan, Wisconsin), born in Darlington, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Thompson and Elta Thompson (Pattinson); her son Jonathan; her siblings, LeWayne Thompson and Cheryl Thompson; and her brother-in-law Laverne Schmerse.

She is survived by: her husband Nathan of Markesan; her children, Jenalee Moore (Brian) of Richland Center, Jennifer Ostertag (Robert) of Oshkosh and Jathan Schmerse (Amy) of Neenah; her grandchildren, Landen, Nolan, Collin, Keaton Moore, Hannah, Breah, Kirah, Grant Ostertag, Lukas, Benjamin, Jonah and Emma Schmerse; her brother Dusty Thompson (Becky) of Darlington; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Thompson of Madison, Evelyn Krauss (Ralph), Doris Schmerse of Monroe and James Schmerse (Beverly) of Clinton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Caralee's name.
