With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Ponto of Markesan, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 8, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Krentz and Ella Lenore Krentz (Krusel); her husband Orlo Ponto; her siblings, William C. Krentz (Anna Marie) and Dorothy Konovsky (David); her siblings-in-law, LeRoy Ponto, Walter Nickolie (Audrey) and Ethel Lund (Charles); and her nephews, Charles Lund, Kevin Ponto and David Nickolie.
She is survived by: her friends, Deb Teske and Katherine Beilfuss; her nieces and nephews, William H. Krentz (Beth), Allan Krentz (Susan), Dorene Glover (Ed Gentile), Dorthea Bruns (Jim), Marie Dulas (Thomas), Pam Ponto, Cheryl Clauson (Brent), Paula Lutzen (Brian), Barbara Lund and Daniel Nickolie; her siblings-in-law, Gus, Valois Ponto and Mavis Ponto; and her close friend Robert Ziebell. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
