He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Raether and Luella Raether (Mickelson); and his sister Karen Welch. He is survived by: his wife Sue Raether; his children, Jason Raether (Julie), Keri Cavitt (Ryan) and Edie Goodell (Lewis); his grandchildren, Leif, Evan Cavitt, Lily and Jackson Raether; and his brothers, Gary Raether (MaryBeth) and David Raether (Kim).
In lieu of plants, flowers, and gifts, the family would appreciate donations to one of the following charities: Wisconsin Parkinson's Association, Marion Historical Society, Caroline & Marion Lion's, Navarino Nature Center, and Zion Lutheran Church Caroline.
