He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schlender and Dora Schlender (Krueger); his stepdaughter Linda Dudzik (Brian); and his cousin Jean Fritz (George). He is survived by: his children, Dawn Schlender and Dan Schlender of DeKalb, IL.; his stepdaughters, Cindy Dean (Ken) and Christie Ebert; and his cousin Chet Schlender (Carol). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
