It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Fred Schwan (Marion, Wisconsin), born in Caroline, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schwan and Selma Schwan (Koepke); and his siblings, Mary Salmonson and Jim Schwan. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hehner; his children, Connie Detert (Larry) and Joe Schwan (Stephanie) of Albert Lea, MN; his grandchildren, Brittany Jashinsky (Jason), Marissa Detert (Nathan LeNoble) and Jackson Schwan A; his great grandchild Jillian Jashinsky; his siblings, Barbara Dillenburg, Donna Krueger and Fred Schwan (Marion); and his sister-in-law Elaine Schwan (Marion).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be directed to the family for a donation to the Marion Area Fire Department.
