He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pauls and Esther Pauls (Schmidt); his son Gary Pauls; and his siblings, Robert Pauls and Shirley Gregovich.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Felts. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
