It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosalie Dian Gates of Marinette, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Rosalie Dian's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Rosalie Dian has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Fry and Louise Fry (Lottermoser); and her sister DeDe Gutchow. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Petersen (Metzelfeld), Elizabeth Oman (Metzelfeld), Michael Metzelfeld and Scott Metzelfeld; her husband Howard Metzelfeld; and her sister Dorothy Sommers. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Inc. (610 Marinette Ave, Marinette, WI 54143). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Unity Hospice.
