She is survived by: her children, Barb Vanden Avond, Eric Bates (Lori) and Aaron Bates (Jen); her grandchildren, Stephanie Coakley (Casey Behnke), Tyler Coakley, Alisha Vargo (Tyler), Elissa Wellner, Mackenzie Wellner, Elizabeth Vanden Avond, Rebecca Mathis (Brandon), Matthew Vanden Avond (Mindy) and Luke Vanden Avond (Kim); her great grandchild Dominic Burns; and her sisters, Judy Phillips and Donna Shapiro.
